New York City

The Didways and DiFuccias joined us for a New York City extravaganza! It was our first time in NYC and we only had a weekend, but we tried to make the most of it. We feasted at great eateries including Max Brenner‘s Chocolate By the Bald Man and Katz’s Delicatessen to our tummies’ delight. The DiFuccia’s (our official guides) took

The trip also provided the opportunity to visit longtime friend Jacob Kobernik and his family on the stunning Anderson Island outside of Tacoma, Wa. It was amazing! So much to see and do… I wanna go

My family and I took a trip from my brother’s wedding in Michigan to our homestead in Kansas. Halfway back we stopped by the Amana Colonies. These Colonies are a group of settlements of radical German Pietists in Iowa, comprising seven villages. It is an interesting part of the country, indeed. Click an image to enlarge and browse. Thanks for sharing in our Germanic settlement
