Have you ever felt like you don’t fit inside your own skin? This series, In The Mud, explores feelings of emotional unrest.
My long-time pal, Gabrielle Davison, and I were chatting about how she felt re-entering the US after spending a year abroad. She wanted to compose something that helped her to outwardly and creatively process the emotions she felt were trapped inside of her. The creative process can be very therapeutic but it requires vulnerability. I’m so proud of Gabe for being open about where she’s at and expressing herself. I hope these images speak to you in a meaningful way as they have to me.
