I’m ever-grateful to the Internet for introducing me to Russell Chandler and Sarah Mitchell, two cool kids who let me take their engagement photos on a swampy summer day in ol’ Norfolk, VA.
Russell and Sarah have a really lovely pad in Colonial Place, one of Norfolk’s little, and perhaps not well known, treasures. Their engagement shoot started and ended at their front steps on what was, undoubtedly, one of the most humid days of summer ’16. My camera lens fogged up worse than Jack and Rose’s borrowed car aboard the Titanic. But once the fog cleared we galavanted about, stumbling upon wild waters and lovely flowers.
