Kris “Mixmaster Krees” Demeter and I go waaay back to the days of little league, Beastie Boys dance sessions, and riverside cabin weekends in Kansas. Kris moved westward for work and found love.
Kris’ lovely lady goes by the name of Brigitte. The two of them flew me out to CA to take some photographs to celebrate their engagement. We shot over two days—one sunrise and one sunset. First, we hit up Malibu Creek State Park for a sunrise and a visit to the swimming hole before anyone else could beat us to it. Secondly, we drove out to Point Dume and hiked to a secluded beach called Pirate’s Cove for some saucy sunset shots. It was a dream!
