Phil and Brianne’s wedding day in Iceland was filled with sweet moments, epic views, and delectable eats. It. Was. Incredible.
After our flights from the US, we had a fun day of exploring east of Reykjavík towards Vík hitting a bunch of the hot spots–Seljalandfoss, Skogafoss, Dyrhólaey, and Reynisfjara Beach which served as an engagement shoot of sorts. So many incredible views and the weather played fairly nicely with us as we wandered about.
Phil and Bri’s wedding day started at Fosshotel Hellnar with gifts and drinks followed by one of the most stunning first looks ever. Seriously, chills y’all. From there we took a short drive to the little black church at Budir for their ceremony. Afterward, we had a quick glamour shoot (cue Phil petting a dead… something?) and then drove to a few different locations for photos including Djúpalónssandur Black Sand Beach and Arnarstapi.
The reception at Hotel Budir was so charming. The joy and gratitude in the room were abundant as Phil and Bri celebrated with their family and friends who traveled great lengths be a part. It truly was an honor to share in their day and a creative thrill to capture it all on camera.
